A developer of personalized supplements for individuals based on their genetic profiles with the use of functional genomics science asked NewPage to create a Mobile Health App to engage customers, drive behavioral changes and help them achieve optimal health goals. Requirements for the app included onboarding customers, tracking supplements, personalized reminders and progress reports, adherence and usage reports, ability for customers to view their genomics report as a PDF, and offering targeted content such as articles.
NewPage was selected for the project because of our depth and breadth of experience developing Patient Engagement and Mobile Health Applications. Once the customer received their first shipment of personalized supplements, the app would allow them to log into the supplement tracker. The customer would receive reminders to take their supplement and input their supplement intake. The App would generate adherence and usage reports; enable patients to view their DNA reports as a PDF; and offer helpful articles.
Our client successfully launched a Mobile Health App that engaged their customers, influenced desired behavioral changes and helps kidney cancer patients by providing medication tracking and adherence reminders. Because of our extensive experience developing Patient Engagement and Mobile Health Apps, we were able to leverage existing technology and customize it to meet the unique needs of our client, meaning the client was able to launch their solution faster and at a lower cost.
